Protest/Vigil regarding the two tortured and slaughtered American soldiers.
The following is an announcement regarding a protest/vigil this Friday in the Los Angeles area organized by a new organization called the Sons of Washington.
From the Sons of Washington:
It has come to light now the manner in which our captured soldiers were slaughtered recently. Their eyes were cut out, and they were then beheaded while still conscious.

Condemnation of the overall silence of Islamic organizations in America regarding the brutal slayings of two captured American soldiers, Pfc. Thomas Tucker & Pfc. Kristian Menchaca. The Sons of Washington are asking Muslim leaders to publicly condemn the terrorist perpetrators by name, including al- Zarqawi's successer, Abu Hamza al-Muhajer. Will Muslim leaders stand with us in condemnation? Come out to honor the memory of these two heroes, and show condemnation of Islamic militancy.

I wouldn't live there, visit or even spend one thin dime on that POS State....BUT, I would love to be at THIS protest. Unfortunately, it's 3 States from where I live.

Search yahoo news for the words "beheaded" and you'll see all the articles, that was officially stated by the Military. The fact that their eyes were cut out was reported to me from several sources but I can't find an article right now on it, the media is being really quiet about the causes of death to 'limit Islamophobic sentiments' no doubt.

Washington sounds like CA, so I shouldn't live in that POS Washington state either.
Fortunately, I live in an almost all red state, NC. Both Senators are Conservative Republicans.
Hey now! Do not throw the baby with the bathwater. This is the state that brought you Nixon and Reagan. I agree the politics are a mess here right now, but California consistently ranks in the top 3 of FreeRepublic donations, and raises lots of money for GOP, Conservative and Libertarian programs. DO NOT ABANDON US. We fight the good fight against terrible odds, and one day we will win this state over again.
