While we are killing time here, let me paste in one from upthrad. Don-o approves this post. Time for my bi-annual rant -- ROAD COURSE RACING HAS NO PLACE IN NASCAR!!! Simple proofs? 1. Quality NASCAR drivers having to go to Boris Said for driving lessons. 2. Car owners kicking their normal drivers out of the car and putting a road race ringer in his place.
If road course racing is so different that changing who sits in the seat for just those races can play a role in victory, then it has no place belonging.
Bring back Rockingham.
