It's not just Mexico. The whole world is corrupt.

That's why they keep pouring into the US.

If Mexico ever got rid of corruption, and guaranteed the rights to life, liberty, and property, the country would flourish.

Hell, in exchange for their braceros, the US'll send Mexico our senior citizens, to live out their lives in warm luxury.

The Silver Set could buy the damn country with their Visa cards if they wanted to.

Mexico is a 'loser country', indeed. One quarter of Mexico is already here and half of those remaining would head north in a heartbeat. (The middle class.) Mexico is being depopulated, whole villages are deserted, but billions in remittances flow south and Fox exhorts Mexicans to head for Canada. "You need cheap labor!" Where's the incentive for Mexico to change and stop being a third world hellhole? Well, Fox has told the US that we should 'invest in rebuilding Mexico's infrastructure so Mexicans will want to return home'. How's that for a plan.

I am glad to see someone finally looking at Mexico's part in illegal immigration, which is a very large part.

Another thing I became aware of is that if a poor person wants surgery, he must pay the hospital in advance.

I sarcastically said on one of the immigration threads that perhaps we should invade Mexico and run it.

It an ugly picture, but it could happen to us. We also have corruption. Think of the teacher's unions, the lobbying, etc. We just aren't as vulnerable for the moment.

I'm sick to death of the excuses. I'm sick to death of hearing from our D.C. leadership and the Latino leadership for the illegals tell us that these are just 'poor, hard working people'. I disagree. They are simply too damn lazy to fix the problems they have at home. They've long since learned that the easy way out is to come here, take our jobs, drain our welfare system, bankrupt our medical system and eventually they will turn our country into the hellhole they came from.

BUILD A FREEKING WALL.

Most countries in the world are just like this.

I think the danger is that they will bring the corruption with them.

Mexicans should all return to Mexico and clean up their hellhole. There is no excuse for them.

In Mexico, there are NO DUE PROCESS RIGHTS ! And the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) known as the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) wants to ALL STATES to sign on to their new Driver License Agreement (DLA) in order to share their most private part of their driver's license databases AND Mexico will be a part of it ! The DLA was originally included in Sensenbrenner's Real ID Act. On the surface, this is a crackdown on illegal immigrants but beneath the veneer, it is another way to screw the average American Citizen while giving a "free pass" to illegals. This DLA is also included in the House Immigration bill. The language was recommended by Sensenbrenner's Judiciary committee.

IN MEXICO, it's called mordida, the bite. It's as common in business as it is in dealing with the police.
