I sure hope so.

Your memory is short. The Islamofascists are cruel and fanatical. So were the Japanese and the Nazis. Men in the Pacific war didn't surrender, they fought to the death and no quarter was given or asked. The Nazis committed atrocities at an industrial pace.
Don't lose sight of the fact that our fathers and grandfathers faced the same sort of evil, and they triumphed.

"...and that encouraged those still fighting to surrender."
We won't see that in this war. This enemy is crazier than a sh*thouse rat.
I'm ready to release The Hounds of Hell...but I was ready to do that three years ago. *SHRUG*

Release the "Pendleton Eight!"
Reminds me of an old movie; "Breaker Morant". About the Boar war. The British asked its troops to fight an insurgency and then hung them out to dry for a political settlement.
So far I have not heard one Dem (I.E. socialist POS) call for condemnation of the terrorists. Cindy isn't holding a vigil for the troops and condemning the terrorists. Code Pink isn't condemning it either. Howard Dean isn't. Murtha, Schumer, Pelosi, none of them have so far. But maybe I am just behind in the news. Maybe by the 2200 hr news I will see where all the Dems got together to decry this atrocity and stand behind the troops and the mission.
But then again, maybe I don't have to stay up late. Ah, heck. Just read the tag line.

The Associated Press has a clear anti-US agenda.
Kim is a cog in the machine.

Same here. I thought 9/11 should have been reason enough to release the HOH. I can't believe people from this country will stand against this war. I just can't believe it.

The Rape of Nanking was the sacking of a city. Terrible, but not that uncommon in history. No, this enemy is not sacking a city. They are deliberately targeting civilians over an extended period of time. This isn't troops going crazy, this is cold blooded systemic evil.

The discovery of the bodies dealt a new setback to U.S. efforts to seize the momentum against al-Qaida... I didn't need to read any further than that to know it was an AP story (or Reuters, or AFP, or Al Jazeera). This reporter is not a friend of the U.S.

Actually I think the Japanese were close. They were fanatical head chopping mutilators doing it all for their "God". The difference was in our willingness to do what we had to do to end it, and the worlds willingness to accept it.

They never had to listen to FDR or Churchill call nazism "an ideology of peace." I'm tired of trying to make nice with people who want us dead and our entire way of life obliterated. It's way past time to take the gloves off.
To: MrCruncher
Oh, yes, they certainly do. If anyone had any lingering doubts, today's headline saying Z's replacement got the "credit" for these war atrocities should have made it perfectly clear. Just amazing, they called it "credit."

Very accurate portrayal.
The liberals have embraced wrongful acts for so long that I don't expect them to side with anything but evil.

In my opinion they should never been locked up.

Then a couple Marines today were charged with murder.
How in the heck do you charge any one with murder in a war? Isn't that the point of the whole exercise?????
