Maybe it was not so much a poor choice as AP News' preferred way to look at the so-called "insurgents" and their attempts to bring back the Baathists or an Al Qaeda dictatorship.

This from the news agency that refused to call the 9-11 hijackers "terrorists" with the goal of "unbiased" reporting.
