Not a false word in that phrase, though he left out the part about how that script Dan helped author is all about the demise of broadcast journalism.

I want him to see him dressed in an evening gown, strutting on a Baby Grand, and singing his goodbye's.
Then my week will be complete.

Rather told the New York Times that he is considering an offer from Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban to do a weekly news program for Cuban's HDNet cable channel.
Why not just set up lemonade-style journalism stand at the end of your driveway, Dan?

Dan may have "apologized for his role" but he still clings to the lie that brought him down...

CBS News is working on a primetime special on the newsman's career. It is scheduled to be broadcast sometime this fall. CBS News also will make a contribution to Rather's alma mater, now called Sam Houston State University. I thought Dan attended the Sam Houston Institute of Technology.

Now Gunga Dan will have plenty of time for yachting off the coast of Martha's Vineyard with Cronkite and the other Fellow Travelers.

Come on, already. You have to let him cover at least one more hurricane season so show the young 'uns how it's done.
