That's just plain dumb Sinkspur.

What's dumb is telling administrators who have given you a forum to speak that you will give an agreed-upon speech, but, then, you don't give the agreed-upon speech.

It's not just dumb, it's a lie.

My generous take is that it was an act of ineffectual civil disobedience. I might have been tempted to do the same myself, albeit with a different but equally discordant message to those who dictate the harmonious, before I became overly facile with the concept of lawsuits and injunctions, which I suspect in the right hands, would have secured just as much publicity as that which the passion play, as it played out, secured. Screw them. But then there was that darn mike thingie. Just darn. Where are strong male lungs when you need them?

I object, sinkspur!

It is a matter of Spiritual priorities.

Perhaps there was a young Christian a few millennia ago who agreed to worship Caesar, but when the time came was convicted in the Spirit and knew that it was vitally important to proclaim Jesus publicly - even though the result would be becoming some lion's afternoon snack.

Sinkspur, have you ever had a change of heart?

Her Religious teachings may have included the story of the thief upon the cross next to Jesus Christ.

The thief, a violator of God's law, and of human laws, happened to have a change of heart at an unusual time in his life while he was within close range of his own mortality yet also close to Life in Jesus Christ.

The thief could also be judged as dishonest. Some might say that he reached out to the Messiah, out of fear to his only hope for Salvation.

Yet the thief spoke from his heart, from Truth and in Faith when he asked Jesus Christ to remember him.

Blessed was the young woman, Sinkspur, because she was not within sight of her mortality nor could she visually see her Messiah yet she believed and reached out because of Faith alone.

God Bless her for having the courage of her convictions at so young an age.
