A Pentagon document classifies homosexuality as a mental disorder, decades after mental health experts abandoned that position.

Those mental health experts were on the APA. Unfortunately, their reasons for abandoning that position were due to gay activism, not science. While even some freepers refuse to believe it, gay scientist and activist Simon LeVay admitted exactly that:

"Gay activism was clearly the force that propelled the APA to declassify homosexuality."

I have LeVay's book and have verified the quote.

What does this mean? It means without gay activism, homosexuality would still be classified as a mential disorder. It's quite obvious there was no science involved in the declassification.
