Was that $200 paid to the school for her ceremony or just what you lost by taking time off from work. If the former, then you have a right to complain about the content of the ceremony. If the second, then the onus is on you. Nothing but your own desires cost you that $200 so don't gripe about the ceremony as no one forced you to attend. If you didn't like the content of the graduation ceremony, no one glued your tush to the seat. All you would have had to do is stand yourself up, and use your legs to vote your displeasure at being sermonized by leaving the auditorium.
