I haven't been listening to the TV news, except sporadically, but I thought I heard some discussion on FNC, perhaps this morning, that the reason Z called it off was that it "wouldn't kill enough people".
The new leader of AQ in Iraq just issued a screed, available here on FR, from MEMRI, composed of the usual over-the-top bluster and bravado. Since these guys seem to always have the latest leftist talking points, I was suprised they weren't threatening attacks on US soil. After all, they must still have the plans for this wonderful invention that sounds like something my son could have come up with at 15.
The enemy and the MSM/defeaticrats needed to make Americans uneasy, yet again, and to give the Senate rats something with which to beat down W's poll ratings while bashing DHS. This story could have been broken at any time in the past three years, but Susskind gets dibs on it for a book that is flaked at the highest media levels at just the time when it does seem that the tide is turning in both Iraq and A'stan, more Americans support the war and even the rigged polls show a rise in the President's numbers. However, perhaps there was some hope that this story could combine synergistically with the NoKo nuke launch and the 3 (I think) separate incidents of Marine and Army *atrocities* to accomplish the goals of our enemies, foreign and domestic.
At this point, my reaction to the media is similar to watching an illusion that I have previously seen explained.
Once you see how they attempt to manipulate opinion, all their efforts seem manipulative.
It is all just too fortuitous and impossible to check, one way or the other. Maybe one of our intrepid FR researchers will work on a deconstruct of all this.
Chances are the MSM and the Democrats are working in conjunction with each other. Both are willing to destroy America to have their way.
Can't there be a "FreeRepublic" non-profit store where posters like this one can be bought?
May I borrow your tag worthy comments?
Be my guest!
Thanks.
