3) The vast majority of Mexicans that enter the US have assimilated faster than ANY other national immigrant group or race. They are almost 10% of the US military. And unlike the images seen from LA, in Phoenix, they are completely integrated and become middle-class in short order. I think you're confusing legal with illegal when you talk about the 10% in the military. What percentage of those are illegals vs legals with valid green cards?

The thousands seen marching ARE the very people you're promoting as assimilating. Yeah right, they're assimilating right into our schools, emergency rooms, welfare system and the like. They love America so much that they are carrying Mexican flags, speaking Spanish, and calling for open borders so more just like them can come too. My friend who teaches in the OC says the second generation illegals are the problem. Their parents bust their a$$es to make it in this country and then their kids basically sit on their a$$es and do nothing.

I've heard that the first generation Mexocan population does pretty well here. Unfortunately their offspring, the 2nd and 3rd generations, are the ones having the real trouble: gang membership, asimilation problems, radical. There was an excellent report on it on FOXNews the other night. It basically said our theory of "well, these families have traditional family values in common with us" is a myth. (At least with their kids, who have grown up to HATE America. Thanks to public school teachers.) BUMP
