I just sent Gallagher an email thanking him for his article on John Murtha. I then said that it was confirmation that my contribution to Diana Irey was money well-spent, and that, in fact, his article inspired me to send another $100 to her campaign.

What was up with that tone of voice Murtha was using? As he continued to talk, I seriously was expecting froth to begin flying from his lips. What I found interesting was Russer's demeanor during the interview: how many times did he actually look at the guy. He had his eyes drilled into the pages in front of him, and at times his body language was such that a strong wind was blowing from Murtha. The perspective I got was Russert was feverishly trying to remain on script.

The only time he was actually engaging with his guests was during the interviewing the oil execs, which actually went rather well I feel. They didn't say anything different than Lee Raymond's comments while interviewed by Charlie Rose a couple of months ago.

When I hear "(insert name) Speaks Truth To Power" the years of Clintonian mendacity come rushing back to me. This phrase is a mockery of the very concept of truth and honesty, as is the empty uniform Murtha and his controllers in the Democrat Party. Murtha's disgraceful actions reek of the kind of treachery we could only count on the Democrats of the Clintonian stripe to provide for us. My fondest wish is that he be thoroughly and publicly repudiated by honorable marines, as he justly deserves. Murtha joins Scott Ritter in dishonor and shame, as a result of both of their conscious, treasonous actions.
