Coulter could no doubt have filled 20 pages with rebuttles to their positions without speculating on they joy at losing their husbands. But that's not Coulter, thoughtful discussion doesn't sell many books.
She did, actually. But the left just picked up a couple of sentences. She didn't say they were filled with joy at losing their husband, she said they were enjoying all that came with losing thier husbands. And that's just the truth.
Nobody would be talking about it if she did a dry dissertation. Harsh as the words were, she caused the left to respond and engage the debate. When was the last time you initiated a nation-wide debate?
Oh, and in case you missed it, she won the debate.
Read her book. It's very in depth and thoughtful. With the added bonus of bitch-slapping the left in hilarious fashion.
.."with a two by four"
Part of me says that you're EXACTLY right.
But on the other hand, the Left has been so over the top for so long - including the actions of the Jersey Girls and Cindy Sheehan, that the Left can no longer discern the difference between sane discourse and insane behavior.
As over the top as Coulter may be, her behavior sparks debate on the merits of how the other side acts. I mean, if a Leftie is going to condemn Coulter on SPECIFIC behavior, then it should difficult for them to not condemn (or at least recognize) the worse behavior of their own.
And ... thoughful discussion is totally lost on liberals. To make a point with liberals, you must strike a raw nerve.
