I live in the Pittsburgh area and you can Not buy fireworks in PA. Sure you can. Just not if you live here. There are stores in Erie and Breezewood, for example, but PA residents are not allowed inside.

As long as I lived here I never knew that! I used to talk to some old-timers set up at the local flea markets and if they knew you they would sell you the good stuff,that they had out of sight.
