Oh yes, the stay at home mom, the bane of the feminazi world. What a shame.

I am a SAHM, with teen-agers, no less! I find it more important to stay at home NOW than it did when my three were in diapers. Yes, laundry, dishes, vacuuming and dusting is boring, menial work, but someone has to do it, and I do it, not only for free, but for love of my family. I had a "job" I owned my own business, and the stress I brought home was not good for my family, so I quit. You couldn't pay me to go back into the workforce right now, my family needs me. This is the job I chose when I became a mom, and I don't mind it at all.

As the old saying goes, in 100 years it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in or what kind of clothes I wore. What will matter is that I made a difference in the life of a child.

I wish I had a nickel for every time I was asked, "so, what do you do?" I am a stay at home mom... "oh, so you don't work?" Yeah, I would love to see some people do my job. I work 24/7/365, and I haven't had a day off since my oldest was born in Sept of 1990. Isn't that cool! I like it that way, no sarcasm tag needed.

Yes it is! I wonder if the writer's Mother had a full time nanny and housekeeper.
