I guess Murtha would have opposed the D-Day landings and advised FDR to just bomb Germany into submission. Especially since Germany never attacked us, nor did Vietnam, nor did Iraq in 1998. Common thread? All Democrat presidents who initiated those efforts. now, had it been a Republican president, why, those guys landing at Normandy were sitting ducks! Quagmire! We have to get out now!:
