Rush was discussing this with an informed-sounding caller this week.
They were trying to get the statistics for numbers of deaths of military NOT during wartime. The guy was saying they anticipated about 800 to 900 deaths per year from various causes (training accidents, traffic, natural, etc.)
But he couldn't remember where he had read it.
The problem is that bringing up something like this is like attacking The Jersey Girls or Cindy Sheehan, which we're not allowed to do because of their suffering.
Oh, wait. Ann Coulter just made a million dollars by doing it, so maybe we can.
The dems can use the deaths, but we can't counteract their statistics because it looks like we don't care about each and every one and we do.
I would like to see an enemy body count mentioned at least once a day, as long as the MSM is keeping score....
