Samantha, I believe the Democrat leadership is using Murtha just as much as the media. They put Murtha out there knowing he's mentally unstable.

They also have him by the throat so that he will be their little propagandist and they will protect him for the ethics violations that will be coming up soon. Like most Dementia victims he will sound fairly normal today and for the rest of the week be incoherent. It is an everyday mystery kind of thing, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Pelosi looks very nervous and eye-popping to the max when she is talking about Murtha. He can only be programmed so much, and he strays off their reservation on a regular basis.
