Because if he hadn't voted for it he wouldn't even stand a chance this year. He knows that it will not be decided before the election.

Because if he hadn't voted for it he wouldn't even stand a chance this year.

House members are up for re-election every two years. The HR4437 vote was roughly one year before the election. This is not like the senate where they are up for re-election every six years. All time periods for House members are a time where they must vote for something else they may not get re-elected.

I've given you one major vote by Cannon that is against support for amnesty of illegal aliens.

Document any vote by Cannon that is in support of amnesty for illegal aliens since his last election.

I believe that for the same reason, Santorum was given permission to be *against* the Senate bill.

Interestingly enough, the man he supported for reelection -- Arlen Specter'D -- vote for the amnesty yet Ricky has the nerve to blast his opponent for also supporting it.

Next, Ricky's campaign website has a section in 'Espanol'. I want to know who he is appealing to that will be able to vote for him?

Finally, Ricky's campaign staff criticized a local Republican leader for hosting Bay when she came to Pittsbrugh to speak about illegal mmigration, They complained because the people who attended were encouraged to'apply pressure to Ricky to do the right thing.

It sure doesn't sound to me like he is a committed for of illegal immigration. He just felt the heat and saw the light.
