It's my contention that Cannon's record on illegal immigration was poor prior to the last Republican primary challenge by Throckmorton in 2004. Since that primary challenge, it is my contention that Cannon's voting record on illegal immigration has changed and that he seems to be supporting enforcement first and HR4437 without amnesty.

It's based on this that I support Cannon.
