you suggested that many Christians do not condone the wearing of any adornments whatsoever...being that Catholocism is the ONLY true Christian denomination on earth, I would suggest that you, and all other so called "reformists", find out for yourselves what TRUE Christianity teaches before you spread even more ignorance throughout the world.

With all respect, you need to get out more. Abstinence, and making a public stand for it, is big in the youth groups I know of. The ring symbolizes a pre-marriage commitment to Christ, just as a wedding ring symbolizes commitment to one's spouse.
