I guess the news about loading the fuel tanks earlier on then was a false report.
Good Gawd! Do they sell'em from storefronts like puppies or something?
Don't get me wrong. I always got the impression Art would be a total basket case without a wife, but how the hell do you find another one this fast?
The woman has been dead for almost exactly six months!
Ripe for a conspiracy.
LOL
So is Caruthers.
"Never mind."
"The (North) Korean army and people will do their best to increase the military deterrent with sharp vigilance to cope with the moves of the U.S., which is hell-bent on provocations for war," the official Korean Central News Agency said.

"Kim Jong-il had a state dinner with the Mexican prez. After filling himself with refried beans and burritos, no doubt the NK leadership was anticipating the birth of a new successor to Kim.
Constipation has delayed the announcement."
Actually, the announcement was to be that Kim Jong-il, after eating refried beans and burritos w/the Mexican Prez, was about to be launched by means of gaseous expulsions, into space, over Japan's territory. There were fears he might lose altitude and explode on the way down, emitting a noxious gas, and excremental droppings over Tokyo. Luckily, the Supreme Leader has had a case of the above stated constipation instead, and now the fear is he may explode in his own palace. N. Korean officials are running for cover.
Farmington is a great location for those considerations. So, likely would be Cortez Colo though more vulnerable to forest fires.
There are 2 coal fired electric plants within 20 miles here but they scrub the smoke quite a bit. Some particulate survives, I think--but the air is really pretty clear and much more so than when they started. But not quite as clean as before they were built. San Juan county is one of the, if not the largest county in the USA--larger than Conneticut, I think.
Flagstaff is a great place for a college town. And the San Francisco Peaks are a volcano--considered dormant--not likely to stay that way, imho.
My Dad loves Cottonwood in the Verde Valley. No forest fires very close--unless you call the Mogollian sp? Rim close. Many like Prescott.
Sedona's beautiful but full of crystal fondlers.
Many folks like Durango but might be a bit cold for you.
That was why that character had a German accent - that it was based on some sort of physical disorder Hitler actually had.
We'll be listening for the high pitched tone when your phone melts in the fireball.
I think the message from North Korea was translated and said "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine".
Well, I guess Kimmy is having a good laugh about now. Got us all worked up - a 1100+ thread
GOOD MORNING! It's nice to see we're all still alive.
He may not have fired the missile this time but who's to say he won't at any time, he's power crazy and obviously has missile envy..;)
I am not sure what the exact status is.
I don't think it might be a question of will it work so much as how platforms might need to be in operation to intercept x number of missiles (where x is between, say 100 and 500 missiles.
A real problem that Japan, Taiwan, and some countries is the Middle East is the fact that they may need an operation missile defense within the next 15 to 20 missiles (some might estimate sooner than that0.
In Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising, he writes about vampire attack, where a US Naval Task Force is attack by a swarm of anti-ship missiles.
This novel was written circa 1985 during the height of the cold war with a threat that the US thought was important to be able defend against for the sake of US surface warships.
At that time, CIWS were used to defend against this, but a certain number of missiles would be able to overwhelm that system AT THAT TIME.
Additionally, Red China (which its flagrant violations of human rights) is gearing up to be able to fire hundreds of missiles at Taiwan. This is a scenario that may be happen sooner than people might imagine.
That could be something that might be on our horizon before the end of the decade...
It's the adult version of the monster under the bed...ala Calvin and Hobbes.
