Well since we are not a "lock down" type of country ... and they are VERY devious ... they'll find another way. Mere fallible mortals just can't be right 100% of the time. Eventually we will slip up - unintentionally.
If they stopped the cyanide in NYC subways which could potentially kill 5,000 for something better and more potent ... makes me shudder what that will be. So far though, we are doing the best we can do.

Part of the price of our Liberty and American way of life in an open society is an inherent vulnerability. In my opinion, if we are to maintain this way of life, our response to terrorist acts should be a swift, overwhelming, and utterly decisive physical action and not necessarily a focus on prevention. While I agree that some preventive security measures are prudent, every such measure should be evaluated for its impact on our day-to-day life. There comes a point when protective security begins to come into direct conflict with Liberty.
