Even if the tanks are carried inboard it seems likely that they can be rolled out of the stern door.

Basic aeronautics:

Any aircraft has a Max Gross Takeoff weight.
Fuel contributes to that calculation and thus REDUCES THE ALLOWABLE CARGO WEIGHT!
