By the way, Ed.D's shouldn't be called "Doctor" -- education grad students do work that's on approximately a high-school level. Most Ed.D's can't even write on that level.

Odd you should say this. I usually refrain from saying so in public, but throughout my life I've noticed that most Ed.D's can't pour pee out of a boot with the instructions written on the bottom. To me, an Ed.D is almost like wearing a T-Shirt that says, "I'm Incompetent". Lately I've noticed a couple of competent ones, which almost amazes me.

Apologies to any FReepers who may hold the degree. I'm sure you're competent. It's just that most of the ones I've seen aren't.
