White, black, green, orange... sounds like a refreshing change. I wish there were someone as conservative as she sounds running for all offices.

It would be awesome if Condi and Laura would come down and campaign for Catherine Davis once or twice.

McKinney's "dismal legislative record and her outrageous behavior are an embarrassment to the hard-working folks in my district."

Ouch!

"She favors a strict approach to immigration reform - the immediate securing of the borders and deportation of illegal residents, privatizing Social Security, Health Savings Accounts, school vouchers and the Fair Tax, which would eliminate the federal income tax and establish a federal sales tax."

I wish the Republican party stood with her on these issues.

Why because she's female? George Bush himself ought to be out stomping for this true conservative.

would that this were true, but it isn't. The idiots who elect her like the way she acts since that is how they'd act.

Unfortunately, a Republican, male, female, black, white, green, or purple, doesn't have a ghost of a chance in the 4th.

Catherine Davis, a human resources manager who has never held elected office, said she is running because McKinney's "dismal legislative record and her outrageous behavior are an embarrassment to the hard-working folks in my district." McKinney represents Georgia's 4th Congressional District.

Yay! While her race is not an issue, it's nice to hear that among McKinney's constituents there is a conservative woman who recognizes what an embarassment McKinney is to the community and has the courage to go after her office. And considering McKinney's thinly veiled race card playing in the past, it doesn't hurt that Catherine Davis is black.

GA-4 went heavily for Kerry in 2004. Good luck to whomever ends up running against McKinney.

As this interestiung race progresses, I wonder how long it wilkl be before Cynthia will play the race card by accusing this woman of being an oreo, a female Clarence Thomas an 'Aunt Tom' or some other such insulting term.

You're probably right. Hopefully not this time. ;-)

Catherine Davis may or may not succeed. But at least she'll be out there pointing out the idiocy of McKinney's time in office. Maybe it will make a dent in things.

Umm. No. Because both candidates in this race are woman. Condi and Laura are very classy, dignified women as is Catherine Davis.

Cynthia McKinney on the otherhand is anything but classy.

The contrast would be hard to ignore.

The dependent class will never vote on a Republican, no matter what color.

I forwarded this to "The Club for Growth". Hopefully, they will find here views on HSAs, Social Security and taxes appealling enough to give her some support.

The biggest thing that matters is that this lady's agenda will do more for the people in her District, especially the black people, than McKinney's empty-headed egotism.
