Metro Board Member Dismissed for Disparaging Remarks

Washington (AP) - Governor Ehrlich has dismissed Washington Suburban Transit Commissioner Robert Smith for making derogatory remarks about gays.

Smith also served on Metro's board of directors. Smith appeared last weekend on a Montgomery County (website - news) cable program to discuss the Senate's rejection of a Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage and referred to homosexuality as deviant behavior.

Ehrlich says Smith's comments were highly inappropriate, insensitive, and unacceptable. The Republican governor is seeking re-election this year.

The announcement came hours after openly gay DC Councilman Jim Graham demanded an apology from Smith during Thursday's Metro board meeting. Smith refused, prompting Graham to call for his removal.

Smith will be replaced on both bodies by Raymond Briscuso of Bethesda, who runs a biotechnology consulting firm.

I am not sure if Mr. Smith referred to homosexuals as "sexual deviants" or referred to homosexual activity as deviant behavior.

Gay men ingest feces off of their "partners" man part. Queers get real pissed when you bring that up at parties they are at. I know cuz I've brought it up. It's a simple fact and the truth but they don't like for anyone to focus on such things. On the other hand, the Metro Board does stuff that affects me, in Virginia, and I think Ehrlich made a grievous mistake and should be deprived of all funds by Republican campaign authorities in his next election.

According to this article he referred to homosexuality as "social deviancy". It also says that a D.C. City Councilman named Jim Graham did the rain dancing for this little sh*tstorm. Smith said that Graham "chose to hold an impromptu press conference" Thursday at the board’s monthly meeting in Washington.

I find the present situation, with it's rampant PC and pervert mongering, hard to believe. I guess the left stopped our asses on this front. We have to constantly fight for to keep the greatest nation earth has ever known from being dismantled - by our own countrymen - what a *%)$%*^ shame.
