I thought Carlin was a gentleman and let her have her moment without interrupting.
Well I unfortunately missed the show, but I tend to agree with you, whatever that may be worth. Carlin may be a lib, but he's also from a period in time where kids were taught manners as they grew up. Yes, he may bash her when it's his turn to be in the spotlight, but he probably remembers enough of the manners his momma taught him so that he could sit there quietly and let her have her turn to speak.
Besides, as others have pointed out, he was there to promote his Disney film. Tom Cruise has already proven the old saying wrong, there is too such a thing as bad publicity. Disney probably warned him about facing off with her, too many conservatives still need to take their kids to see Cars.
Sounds like he was a gentleman, and since I don't know the man I must concede that he may just be a decent fellow. I suppose I'm just accustomed to these high-profile leftists thumbing their noses at decorum and decency, so I'm suspicious when they don't.
