I agree. She looks anorexic. A few more curves would certainly help her looks and hopefully her health.
I was a little surprised that Leno did not ask Ann about the handful of conservative talk radio hosts and several Republican politicians that have condemned her comments on the Jersey girls. I would like to hear her response to them. At least some conservatives claim to be offended by her comments, it isn't just hysterical liberals. I personally thought the comments were over the top and unfair, but I'm not at all unhappy that they have helped make her book a #1 bestseller.

He's 70, born May 12, 1936, but said last night on Leno that he was 69 and tried to get some mileage out of it.

You should see her in person. You know TV adds 10 pounds to everyone. She is almost unbelievably thin. Some people are just skinny, I think she otherwise looks healthy.
Well I unfortunately missed the show, but I tend to agree with you, whatever that may be worth. Carlin may be a lib, but he's also from a period in time where kids were taught manners as they grew up. Yes, he may bash her when it's his turn to be in the spotlight, but he probably remembers enough of the manners his momma taught him so that he could sit there quietly and let her have her turn to speak.
Besides, as others have pointed out, he was there to promote his Disney film. Tom Cruise has already proven the old saying wrong, there is too such a thing as bad publicity. Disney probably warned him about facing off with her, too many conservatives still need to take their kids to see Cars.

You are sadly dead on about perceptions - some people are influenced by the crowd and follow what they perceive to be the most popular opinion...probably caused a number of viewers who might otherwise have disliked Ann, because of the negative publicity, to see her in a whole new light.
I have come appreciate and admire Ann Coulter's courage, wit, intelligence, and physical beauty. Mostly, I admire her unflappable, full-speed-ahead attitude.
Exactly. To me, it's a tremendous victory to have her appear on Leno and have the audience on her side. And it's no accident. It's the result of activism. Leno was perturbed. He made a crack about his sudden "right wing audience members." Tough luck, Jay. And what's he gonna do? He who pays the piper calls the tune. He didn't dare take on his own audience, so he was stuck. It was a major coup, imo. And I'm one of those who sometimes gets a little squeamish about Ann. She did a great job and had help.
She has had a tendency to hyperventilate. This past week she has sounded very confident and not at all hyper. Maybe she has merely made it through a phase.

Kudos to conservative activism - I hope it will continue in order to balance things to the degree possible.
I heard Bill Maher (speaking of liberal friends of Ann Coulter) make some noise in a spirit of fairness about seeking venues for his show where the audience would favor the right. Interesting idea - don't know if it will materialize.
The fact is that the country currently is leaning right, but there will never be a preponderance of right-leaning TV audiences for the same reason that polling always errs to the left.

Ugh, that smarmy scarborough had the other smarmy one smerconish....going on and on about how we have to criticize Ann or we have no credibility. UGH to the both of them.
