Japan's Fuji TV aired video footage recording the activities of a man thought to be Kim Jong-chol, Kim Jong-il's second son and his alleged successor.
Two prior American classmates of Kim Jong-chol at a Swiss private school were sure that the man in the footage is Kim. In the video, a man of about 5' 8'' in height, was taking pictures or enjoying concerts with four or five other people. It was filmed between June 3rd and 7th before the opening of World Cup Soccer Tournament, according to Fuji TV.
Apparently, he came to Germany to attend Eric Clapton's concerts, which were held in four different German cities, Frankfurt on June 3, Stuttgart on 4th, Leipzig on 6th, Berlin on 7th. He attended all of them. He is known to be an avid fan of Eric Clapton. He was wearing jeans and leather jackets with Clapton T-shirt inside. Next to him was a pretty girl in white pants and light green jackets. He was posing for photos, which the girl took with a digital camera, and later looking at the pictures together. All five people in his entourage were seen taking a group photo in one segment. A Japanese expert, upon seeing the video, said that two of them were bodyguards, another is a tour guide, a middle-aged woman is a maid, the girl may be his girl-friend or even wife. When the TV reporters approached and asked, "Where are you from?", he was seen replying, "Why?" Kim Jong-chol left N. Korea in mid-May and went through Russia, to France and had been staying there. He came to Germany to attend Eric Clapton's concert.
