I married a liberal as well. It's amazing how blind a man can be when he's being led by his groin instead of his brain.

You've got to wonder if it's a preservation-of-the-species thing. How would the liberals as a species ever survive unless the female liberals could fool a conservative into procreating. Almost all liberal men are homosexuals or at least whimps - not what a species needs for survival.

I almost married a liberal. I lived with her for 4 years thinking I could change her. Little bit of trouble (not even financial, separate finances with me paying living bills) she bailed, thank goodness.

She wasn't such a liberal back then. hell, she wasn't even a Democrat, even though we both lived in NYC where the Democrat primary usually determined elections outside of Staten Island. She even voted for Guiliani over Dinkins both times. (I can't swear about the 3rd time -- she was getting sick of him by then.)

Oddly enough, we've had "discussions" in recent years (maybe the past ten) that I usually walk away from because it'd be the S.O.S., but when she can't possibly fathom how I could possibly hold a certain viewpoint and where did this suddenly come from, I'd like to point out: When we first started dating, didn't I invite you to the 100th anniversary Mass at my Church because it was a big deal to me? Shouldn't that have spoken volumes?
