Didn't Guliani have marital issues as well?

Hi, Huck, LS. I do not have a favorite in the race for 2008. I am looking at things objectively, and I believe the nominee will be Mitt Romney. This is not my choice, as I don't have one. I am just looking at the pros and cons of each possibility.

I think Allen will fade, as he is not very quick on his feet (although to be fair he hasn't had that much coverage so I could be wrong). Rudy and Newt would be massacred on the personal stuff (although Rudy is one candidate that might be able to tell everyone to get over it and ignore the press). McCain's nomination would show him as the media's favorite because they can target all of his past scandals, which is why I think they have been pushing his candidacy.

At any rate, I think after the dust settles it wil be Romney. Check with me next spring and I will let you know if I've changed my mind.

Yes, bad ones---but again, he never positioned himself as a champion of morality as Newt has IMPLIED he has.
