I think the recent release of the Sadaam papers is the final act of the "Bush Lied" super-rope-a-dope.

Thank goodness you have said something. I get sick and tired of people looking only a few steps ahead, when the President is playing long-term.

Every single time we go into the summer, we have had these "Bush is failing, nothing's getting done" reports from the press, echoed here by the chronic Bush criics.

Then right before the August vacation we get a flurry of activity, Congress passes a bunch of stuff, and everyone is standing around with puzzled looks of "how did that happen" written on their faces.

All we are hearing about is the failure of the immigration bill, etc. Watch and see what happens in the next month. Lots of people will be surprised.
