The news from the Zarqawi strike just got better..

I found this tidbit buried in an article on what was found in Z mans safehouse...some reporter asks the Iraqi National Security guy....how we can trust the info on the laptops and thumbdrives we found in the rubble...and his reply.

When asked how he could be sure the information was authentic, al-Rubaie said "there is nothing more authentic than finding a thumbdrive in his pocket."

Zarqawi had a thumbdrive in his pocket....:-)

Which could contain the mother lode.

I wasn't sure of what a thumbdrive was and looked it up. Good Googa Mooga! A treasure trove of information, indeed! Thanks, Dog, for enlightening me!

The ThumbDrive is the world's first and smallest portable storage drive. Based on Trek's patented technologies, the ThumbDrive combines flash memory technologies with the ubiquitous USB connection to create a self-contained drive and media package the size of a thumb. It plugs directly into the USB port of any computer and can store virtually any digital data from documents, and presentations, to music and photos.

Forget about lugging a bulky external storage device. The ThumbDrive fits nicely on your keychain or in your pocket

As Mae West might have spoken:

Zarqawi had a thumbdrive in his pocket....:-)

...AND he wasn't glad to see us!!

Dog, what's a thumbdrive? I try to keep up with new technology, but it happens so fast it's hard to do.
