You could have posted a link. I think most Catholics ARE aware of the Church's stand on this issue. They are making a strong effort to put it in our faces. I wrote to my bishop disagreeing, respectfully. It is not Catholic Doctrine or Dogma. Catholics are not BOUND to agree with this issue.

Why are Catholics discussing this issue in a open manner? Why are they saying that their leaders by promoting illegal immigration they are promoting a illegal act?

Exactly. I don't think the majority of nonCatholics realize that a bishop's opinion is not DOGMA.
