How does this have anything to do with Liberation theology. If the above is an example of Marxist thought I have to admit I am baffled. I have not seen many Marrxist quote and try to use the CATO institute as a source.
Church concern for the alien and for the poor does not equate to liberation Theolgy. IF that was the case then God must be a closet Marxist because the bible is full of mandates to take care of the poor and the alien in our midst. The above has nothing to do with liberation theology.
