It seems that Zogby is using his "Special Sauce" Polls to try and influence another election.

Ford will make it tight in any case. His an attractive candidate who can come across as rational and moderate in spite of himself.

Whoever the Republican nominee is, they win by ten points.

"Zogbeee, President Kerry, ha ha, he he."

Yep.
AFTER the exit polls as well, and he still got it wrong.

The problem is, we have two conservatives and one RINO on the Republican side. If we are not careful, it could come down to a choice of Ford or Ford light. I heard my first radio ad today not for the RINO or Ford, where those two have been smothering the airwaves with "outsider," "corruption," "feel good" ads.

Maybe but because race is involved, people will tell a pollster one thing because they want to think of themselves as fair minded but come election day they will vote their own self interests.

Whoever the Repubs nominate will beat Ford and his family machine in Memphis.

Bet on it.

Aren't the Fords a crooked family?

This means absolutely nothing, and Zogby knows it. The Republicans are split three ways, between Bryant, Corker, and Hilleary, while Ford is running unopposed on the Democratic side. Each are polling about 25%. After the primaries in August, you will see most of the Republican vote coalesce around whoever wins the Republican primary. Never say never, but I just cannot see how Ford has a real chance here, even without the corruption connotation that the family name brings.

Ford has way too much baggage. Just his name is enough to vote against him outside of Shelby County.

I have heard Bryant ads this week, and they are very impressive. I was starting to get a little worried.

Since the primary is in August, I suspect Van Hilleary and Bryant are saving their resources until July.

Ford has to be beat--I live in this state. His campaign has been running ads against the price of gas--as if he could do something. No one seems to ask what he has in mind (and of course, he's not saying). Just another democrat who expects the electorate to remain stupid. Many are.
