The AP tally is far ahead of that: SC Returns.

It looks like Tommy Moore (D) will challenge Governor Mark Sanford (R) who has 65.64% of the primary vote with 79.58%.

Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer (R) is gonna lose to Mike Campbell (R). With 79.58% of the precincts counted Bauer trails Campbell by 36.99% to 46.32%.

What's the threshold for a runoff? 40%? 50%?

I'm looking at Ravenal in the Treasuer's race.

Thanks for the ping Swampy.

I served as a roving troubleshooter for about eight precincts today. Looks like about 15-25% turnout based on my very small sample.

It is too bad that turd Graham is not up for re-election.

Unfortunately we have to wait till 2008 to watch Pandsey "One Termer" Graham go down in flames. Can't wait. The man is a danger to our country.

I think the runoff threshold is 50%, but I'm not sure.

You're right, the threshold for a runoff is 50%. This is a very good site for national and state election information http://www.thegreenpapers.com/

"It is too bad that turd Graham is not up for re-election."

Goober will have his day to face the voters of S.C.
Let's see McCain come out and support him....

A couple of interesting down-ballot primaries. Sanford critic Rep. Becky Martin ("he doesn't play well with others, whaaaaaa, whaaaaa") lost to anti-tax and pro-Sanford challenger Don Bowen.

Well, okay, one interesting primary. Anything else stand out?

It appears to me that Floyd has won. 51% of the vote, with 96% of the precincts reporting. I wonder why it hasn't been called yet?
