Have these people ever heard of a home cooked meal? It really isn't that hard to do. When I was a teen, my aunt picked a different night for my cousins and I to cook dinner. Sometimes it was a disaster, but you eventually get the hang of it. Also, it is a lot cheaper than eating out all the time.
You're right. Home cooked meals ARE cheaper, tastier and more nutritious than take out. I don't get why people don't cook much any more. Yeah, it's a little work, but worth the effort (mmmmm, leftovers!) I know people who eat fast food three or four times a week. I go maybe every two months. I chalk it up to laziness. A lot of Americans have become such spoiled and lazy gluttons. But it's their own choice to make.
