Thanks for the thread to my original post! Clint has CP, but he had been happy and healthy. He went to a camp while his mother went to visit her sick sister and while he was there he got sick and developed pneumonia. He has been in the hospital for going on three weeks. At one time the doctors thought his pneumonia had cleared completely, and the next day he developed a fever again. The doctors did tests that showed that in fact all the pneumonia was not gone and that he had subsequently developed a staph infection. His mother is beside herself. This child is the only reason she gets up in the morning and I am worried about how she is going to cope if God forbid Clint does not get any better.
I'm Catholic and just sent a fervent Hail Mary prayer for Clint. What is "CP"?
