I think you can go to the bank on it. I wonder if the British are making book on it and what proof they require.

BTW, the dashed lines, #3, are dated to 15,000 years ago but even that date will one day be considered far too conservative.

Up to now it's been considered a waste of time to examine older sediments but these days there have got to be a lot of youngsters aching to find likely places to get into older strata.

Kennewick Man is much older than that, as are the Clovis points found at various sites, not to mention Helen Thomas.
