a 1967 Merkur ?? Were you in Germany>

I owned a Merkur xR4Ti in the 80s. Fun car, 'distinctive' styling, great grand touring manners. 155 KPH was its favourite speed. Atanta to Charlotte in less than 3 hours ;-)

NYC. it was a fun car and my first automatic! :-)

But back then we considered it as a 'boxed' VW. Didn't hold on to it but maybe 6 months.

I bought one in 1988. Great car, however the dealer where I bought it failed to send the warranty paperwork to Ford. That I found out when I moved to Texas. Thanks to Wayne Motors (Wayne, NJ), I had to pay for warranty repairs out of pocket. Thanks to Wayne Motors, I no longer do business with New Jersey.
