I don’t think the USA will escape the group. Italy looked good. Even beating Ghana will be tough.

I am looking forward to seeing Brazil play. Apart from anything else I have Adriano in my fantasy team and I’ve not seen him play before :oO

France might be an interesting one. They still haven’t looked like showing much spark in the games I’ve seen them play but they have been getting the results.

France was good a few years ago, I don't know how they are now. I really wish I could be home watching the games, but I'm a cubicle dweller.

Brazil is ALWAYS good. I remember watching Brazil defeat Italy in 1994 in a shootout where Roberto Baggio sent his shot right over the goal, and Brazil scored the final goal for the win.

I also hope Sweden and Australia do well. I was bothered that Sweden tied, and I was very happy that the Aussies defeated Japan. This World Cup will have a good finish.

I agree, very tough to get out of the group unless we beat Italy and Ghana beats the Czechs (probability: extremely low). I just want our guys to score some goals now. They were down 2-0 by the half and you would not have known it as they slowly brought the ball up and backpassed to the goalie. They seemed shell-shocked.
