I not only noticed the Orson Welles a size too big camouflage jacket, I noticed he was wheezing and gasping for breathe when he spoke. A very unhealthy man.

The segment was painfully unfunny.

Everyone knows that guests on these shows are given the questions beforehand, and that jokes are also written for the "celebrities".

Yawn.

Producer: "And then Jay will say . . . and you say . . . ."

AG: "UUhhhh, what? Sorry. Could you go over that a few more times? I was thinking about global warming."

Producer: "OK, but I only have one more hour. And then Jay will say . . . ."

To avoid duplicates and make finding articles convenient, it's an FR standard to use the original source title. In this case, it's "Al Gore jokes about his movie on `Tonight' show".

when one is wanting to be a leader of the greatest country on earth I feel you need to have a lot more class and character than he was exhibiting.

He had a bad example of how it's done.

Jay Leno is a latent homosexual, married to the MOAB Lib Lesbian, Mavis Leno quiescently beard and NOW board member. Just use mute for 5 minutes of the monologue...Jay's a walking, talking 3 dollar bill. Anything he says, whether joking or serious is suspect.

LMAO. You know on another point entirely, why is it our nation is so shallow, not to mention the media, that they think all one needs for a person to be a good president is to be funny?? I mean, forgetting for a minute that Al Whore is the biggest stiff on the planet, even if this guy has the most witty sense of humor on the planet, how does that make him presidential material? So we're suppose to forget his global warming policies would put the US economy onto the same 1% economic growth track of Europe and that were he president on 9-11 we'd still be waiting for the sanctions against Bin Laden to work?

But this is the media and American politics for you today. It's all about flash over substance. We're suppose to be dazzled by Gore because someone wrote some funny jokes for him. We're suppose to regret having Bush as president because Gore remembered his script so well. Pluhhhhhhse.
