That's the first thing I thought when I heard a judge was shot. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to come up with that prediction either. Anyone who has been raped by the system knows that occasionally they will rape the wrong man. They used to go after the ex, but more and more they are going after those that empower them.
In all seriousness, if I were a family court judge, this would make me very nervous - especially if my address was public knowledge. A lot of us are Christian and understand the concept of forgiveness, or are just totally submissive to the alpha dog called family court, but there are others...

That was my point. Or a husband who got raked over the coals. Even without kids, that happens.
On the other hand, could be a hire by some psycho woman.
I was thinking the same. I was wondering how long it would take before things would come to this.
Supposing "a father" did this ... if he responds to a perceived poor decision by attempting to kill the judge, then I'd say the judge was probably right by ruling against him in the first place.
