So long as the borrower was not lied to...if they can't pay the bill it was their own fault. I would certainly say that schools should teach some basic accounting and finance but only because you can't understand much of what goes on in the world unless you have this knowledge. If someone is going to make a major life decision without taking the time to research the ins and outs of it....there is a financial Darwin Award waiting for them.
