I was a little surprised by Richard Simmons feelings about resturaunts reducing serving sizes. He was on one of the news shows the other day calling overeating a (gasp) personal choice.

There are a lot of people who make fun of Richard Simmons, but I've always felt that he's one of the "good guys," and he's ALWAYS been all about personal freedoms and responsibilities. He's someone who's never judgemental towards people who are tremendously overweight, but very supportive towards their getting to a better lifestyle.

He's inspirational, although quite corny, but he's a good guy, and he's really helped a lot of people, because he really does care about them.

It is a personal choice, and/but for some, it's a choice of not Knowing!

And sometimes, that's just simple ignorance, cause one doesn't come across the information. Or because of their social/reading lifestyle, they don't know it's out there to learn about.

I completely agree.

As goofy as he is, he knows that the fight is not what others foist on you, but what you foist on yourself.

Just like anything else, health has to come from the inside out. If it is forced on you, you will rebel.

That's true, the man really truly cares about others.
