An observation, FWIW:

To most people, "ban" suggests the government prohibiting something. That's not what these liberal gals are seeking:
"We are asking New Jersey retailers statewide to stand with us and express their outrage by refusing to carry or sell copies of Coulter's book."

Let's not confuse boycotting something with banning something, as Lefties often do.

Well, words have meaning Mike. I can agree that Quigly and Stender are not calling for a Government ban on the book. But they are asking for someone else to "ban" the book. They are not asking for a "boycott," they are asking for a "ban."

Government Rat officials are the ones pressuring the retailers, and the Rats themselves recognize thir own efforts as a ban.
