Well, your first mistake is in believing that it is true w.o corroborating facts.

This is war, innocents get killed. It is sad. When Zarqawi was killed there was also a woman and a child. Irresponsible adults put the child in danger.

I support my son and I support the military action in Iraq but see how easily I was sucked in by the MSM? It's no wonder that the people that only get their news from the MSM believe what Murtha and the rest of the Democrats say about the war. My apology to all of you. I was not questioning the honor of the Marines. I honestly just wanted to understand what happened. Thank you to all of you for helping me understand.

Your description of the chaos, confusion, immediacy, danger, and priorities of combat was very good. If our soldiers are under fire from a house, they can do whatever it takes to protect their own men, including dropping a bomb on the house. If the insurgents have placed civilians in harm's way, it is not our fault. Moreover, the distinction between civilian and insurgent is extremely murky in a place like Haditha.

I guess it is time to issue white flags to the Iraqi citizens and teach them some basic word like "friend" ...I love Marines....thank you....
