The White House has a pool, maybe GW should learn to swim. Either way, if he does experience trouble while in a body of water, the Secret Service is there to assist.

I don't really consider someone's swimming abilities news, or lack thereof. Is this the best the New York Times can come up with?

The joke wasn't meant for anyone in Washington State. Nor for Rio Linda California.

It's my understanding the White House pool where JFK had his exercises with Fiddle and Faddle while the Secret Service kept Jackie away has been drained, covered, and now serves as the White House press section where Tony Snow holds court.

Wow! As someone who rarely bothers reading anything more than the headline before posting my witty comebacks, at least I look at the pictures!

"NYT: George Bush Can't Swim"

Al Gore can't think.

Ted "Fat Ass" Kennedy can't drive.

Nancy Pelosi must creep up on her dinner.

Al Franken is a jerk.

Is this news? ;)
